GREG BOURBEAU | director

She & He is the film directorial debut of Greg Bourbeau. Greg moved to Nantucket Island in 2003 and soon got involved with the Theatre & Arts community in general and the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket in particular. First as an actor, then a director of many short plays and finally as a board member. This is how he came in contact with the stage play She & He, and many of the people that worked on the film version. Greg has always felt that the play tells a wonderful story in a very unique way and was interested in taking on the challenge of adapting the play to the screen. He is currently in development on his first feature film, a medical courtroom drama.

JUDITH ESTRINE | writer

Judith Estrine is a playwright and author. She & He had its first performance at the Friar’s Club. Subsequently, it was awarded first place in the Nantucket Short Play Competition and has been performed as part of a “6 Women @ 60 in 2006” national tour. Full-length works include Pinochle and Roses (teleplay), which was a semi-finalist at the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. An Equity showcase adaptation was performed at the Vital Theater, NYC. Ghost Mommy was performed at the Renaissance “On The Edge” Festival. Judith is co-author with her husband, Steven Estrine, of Midlife: A Manual (Element Books, 1999; Chrysalis Books (UK), 2001). She is executive editor at the International Longevity Center-USA, a think tank studying economic and social issues of aging around the world. Judith is a member of the Dramatists Guild.

RON WOLF | director of photography

Ron Wolf emigrated from Australia in 1988 shortly after graduating from the University of Sydney, Australia.  Upon arriving, he secured a position as a Production Assistant at Jaguar Productions. By 1994 Ron was the general manager of Jaguar Productions and had worked with leading advertising agencies (BBD&O, DDB Needham, Omnicom, Young & Rubicam and Grey Advertising), music video producers and feature filmmakers (including Adam Sandler’s first movie).

In 1994, Ron left Jaguar Productions to start his own production company: Woftam Films. During that year he purchased his first film camera and shot his first full-length feature “Ghost Houses”. His second feature, “Me, Tommy and the Brothers”, followed shortly. Ron has many short and full-length feature films under his belt, including the award winning “Eyes of a Fence”, and had also filmed commercials and music videos for both the American and European markets. In addition, Ron worked as a freelance artist at Video from Video, a television company, shooting promotional footage for ‘Donahue’, ‘Sally Jesse Raphael’ and ‘Jerry Springer’.

In 1999, Ron co-produced the feature film “Clock’ in Green”, an Urban Drama film, on which he also worked as Cinematographer, and supplied all of the equipment and crew. This was in association with ‘DC Productions’, and partners Juney Smith and Valera Drummond. The success of “Clock’ in Green” led to more Urban Drama films. Most have been released under the distribution of Maverick Entertainment. The latest release being ‘City Teacher’, which is slated for released later this year, makes it Ron’s 29th film.
